Buea : Hundreds Celebrate President Biya’s Birthday

Young people in the South West Region, among them unions of taxi drivers and commercial bike riders from Buea, Tiko and Limbe, alongside representatives of youth associations have prayed the Almighty God grants President Paul Biya wisdom, good health and success to pilot the affairs of the country. Over 300 young people dressed, in t-shirts bearing the picture of President Paul Biya, marched through the streets of Buea to celebrate the 91st anniversary of the Head of State.  The walk which began at 11:00 am from Molyko ended at the South West Governor’s Office with the handing of special birthday gifts to South West Governor for onward transmission to the President of the Republic.
Honourable Malomba Essembe, Member of Parliament for Buea Urban Constituency, noted that this new age brings President Paul Biya more wisdom, good health and continuous success in all his endeavors. ‘‘Our democracy is now better because of your skill; we are thankful to you. As you mark this milestone, may you be surrounded by love, serenity and grace. We are grateful for all you do to make Cameroon a better place for all its citizens,” Hon. Malomba said.
