Cameroon-Denmark : Ambassador-designate Hands Credentials

Sune Krogstrup presented the true copies of his lettres of credence to Minister Felix Mbayu in an audience yesterday March 4, 2024.
The newly designated Ambassador of the Kingdom of Denmark to Cameroon with residence in Abuja, Sune Krogstrup, has handed the true copies of his accreditation documents to the Minister Delegate to the Minister of External Relations in charge of Cooperation with the Commonwealth, Felix Mbayu. This was during an audience the Minister accorded the diplomat on March 4, 2024 at the Ministry of External Relations.
Born on May 9, 1975, Sune Krogstrip has a Master’s degree in Political Science from the University of Copenhagen, and specialised in African politics, including internship in Lesotho. Prior to his appointment as Ambassador, the Danish was Deputy Head of Mission at the Embassy of Denmark in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia from August 1, 2018. At the position, he was responsible for political developments in Ethiopia, Sudan, Djibouti and South Sudan. Sune Krogstrup also coordinated Danish development assistance to Ethiopia, the African Union, IGAD and UNECA. Between August 1, 2025 to July 31, 2018, the Danish diplomat was team leader at the Department for Multilateral Affairs at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Copenhagen, Denmark. His duty consisted in leading the UN team in the headquarters with coordination responsibility for Danish multilateral policies.
