52nd National Day : Special Guests Thrilled

As its always the tradition, the Head of State invites some special guests to witness the National Day celebration commemorated on May 20. This May 20, 2024, national and international dignitaries were invited by the President of the Republic to have a foretaste of Cameroon’s National Day celebration through a parade. Some of the special guests were witnessing the military and civilian march past for the first time and others were not new. Amongst the special guests for the 52nd edition of the National Day was the Secretary General of the International Seabed Authority (ISA), Michael Lodge. The smile on his face could tell one thing; he was exhilarated by the National Day celebrations both at the May 20 Boulevard and the reception offered at the Unity Palace by the Presidential Couple. To further make the Secretary General of the International Seabed Authority special, he is one of the people greeted by the Head of State upon arrival at and departure from the Presidential Tribune.
Another team that honoured the invitation of the Head of State was the detachment of the defence and security forces of Equatorial Guinea, that comprised of Police Officers, Gendarmerie and the army.
