2024 National Interpools : FECAFOOT Explains Rescheduling

The information was conformed during a press briefing in Yaounde yesterday July 2, 2024.
The 2024 national play offs for promotion into the MTN Elite Two championship has been pushed forward. Originally scheduled to take place from July 1-15, 2024, the competition will now take place from August 1-15, 2024 in Yaounde. The information was confirmed by the President of the Committee for National and International Competitions in FECAFOOT, Aboulaye Abdoul Razack, during a press briefing that took place at the headquarters of the institution in Tsinga yesterday, July 2, 2024. He was accompanied by the Vice President, Michel Mbida.
Speaking at the occasion, Aboulaye Abdoul Razack said eight regions out of ten have already unveiled their champions while the Littoral and Centre regions are yet to produce their champions. He said postponing the competition for one month will enable all the regions to complete their championships and hand over their champions. He said FECAFOOT will not come back to its decision. He equally revealed that the Centre Region will host the competition with the matches to be played at the CAF Excellence Centre in Mbankomo and the FECAFOOT Technical Centre in Odza.
