“Statistics In schools Have Improved Since the Killing of the Criminals”

What was your first reaction following the neutralization of Amba warlord and two of his foot soldiers in Konye Ssubdivision?
My first reaction was that of joy and the feeling of freedom for my population who have been seriously terrorized by that so-called ‘General Black Rappen’. I went to Konye last Thursday and one-day after; the operation was carried out leading to their killing. I went there to reassure my population and urge them to facilitate school resumption in the administrative unit. When I came back, serious action was taken and ‘General Black Rappen’ was finally neutralized including two other fighters. It is a matter of joy in the mind of the SDO of Meme. We also congratulate and encourage the forces of law and order and a big thanks to the population who are collaborating with the administration and the forces of law and order for peace to return. 

After this incident, what is the impact on the population and the security situation of the area?
The population has been reassured. When I decided to go to Konye, it was not for nothing. Since the beginning of the crisis, Konye has been seriously touched in terms of education. There was no school going on there since the crisis erupted. I went there on Thursday October 10 and on October 11; the person who was terrorizing the population has been neutralized. It is a matter of hope. Everybody is happy and the statistics in various schools since the killing of the criminal have improved.  This is to show that it is time for freedom and joy in Konye.
