Municipal, Legislative Elections: Donga Mantung CPDM Prepares For A Resounding Victory

C ameroon People’s Democratic Movement (CPDM) officials of Donga Mantung Division have begun preparations aimed at secu­ ring a landslide victory in the forth­ coming legislative and municipal elections. The head of the Central Committee Permanent Delegation for Donga Mantung, Shey Jones Yembe, revealed that it was a stra­ tegic preparatory seminar to enable their officials to prepare themselves ahead of the municipal and legisla­ tive elections. “I am sure other par­ ties are doing their own prepara­ tions as well,” he said. According to him, the seminar was just a wake-up call to officials to remind them of the task ahead of them. "We are not yet talking to militants because cam­ paigns are not yet opened,” he un­ derscored. The team leader revealed the seminar was vital because it gave them the opportunity to ex­ plain some concepts beyond what the Central Committee prepared. Also prominent during the seminar were presentations on why they must win. Minister Fuh Calistus Gen­ try reminded his people of some of the advantages they have, such as good roads, hospitals, schools, and a lot more, thanks to their brilliant per­ formances and loyalty to the CPDM party.
