Doing Business In Cameroon : Indian Investors Presented Potentials

Minister Felix Mbayu, is heading the Cameroonian delegation at the 19th India-Africa Partnership conclave taking place in New Delhi.
In line with guaranteeing economic growth and a coherent implementation of development orientations contained in various national strategic documents, Cameroon is intensifying its collaboration with bilateral partners by canvassing for investors in key sectors. Participating at the 19th India-Africa Partnership conclave in New Delhi from August 20-22, 2024 is another opportunity for Cameroon to present its economic potentials to investors.
Leading the Cameroonian delegation at the high-level meeting is the Minister Delegate to the Minister of External Relations in charge of Cooperation with the Commonwealth, Felix Mbayu. He is accompanied by the Acting Director General of the Investment Promotion Agency (API), Buma Donatus. Both the Minister and the boss of API took to the rostrum to present the different investment opportunities in Cameroon. Yesterday August 21, 2024, Minister Felix Mbayu equally made a presentation at a special session that held under the theme, “Business Opportunities for Private Sector Expansion in Africa.” Forest, mineral and water resources that Cameroon boosts of were all highlighted by the Minister to the Indian investors, whom he told would appreciate the business climate in the country. Engaged in its move towards emergence and in line with the National Development Strategy 2030, Minister Mbayu said Cameroon is open to investment opportunities particularly in the infrastructure and energy sectors.
On his part, the Acting Director General of API noted that the institution projects the creation of 125 enterprises that will generate an estimated FCFA 20,000 billion.
